Be one of the first to enjoy our seasonal selection, which generously serves a dozen dinner party guests, or two cheese lovers over a fortnight (unless there are many impromptu midnight feasts). We’ve selected:

L’affine au Chablis 200g (soft, cow’s milk, washed rind)
This Burgundian gourmet cheese is washed with Chablis wine. If you’re familiar with Epoisses, then this is the more gentle sibling, with a lightly sweeter, softer finish. Best eaten with a baguette, or even just with spoons.

Vulscombe 170g (soft, unpasteurised goat’s milk)
Young and fresh, this appealing, dinner-party-perfect goats cheese provides a soft and creamy herbal note. A cheese of distinction.

Old Winchester 300g (hard, pasteurised cow’s milk, vegetarian)
Old Winchester is a heady fusion of Cheddar and Gouda styles, resulting in an extremely tasty and versatile cheese. Even though it’s hard, it’s creamy, and distinctly nutty with “a little scrunch closer to the rind”, as perfectly described by its producers at Lyburn Farm, the New Forest. Old Winchester stole the show at the British Cheese Awards a couple of years ago, and continues to win many fans.

Shropshire Blue 300g (semi-soft, pasteurised cow’s milk, vegetarian)
This is a semi-soft blue cheese with a tangy aroma and satisfying creaminess. The striking orange hue comes from the natural dye annatto, initially introduced to distinguish it from Stilton. Similar in taste, Shropshire Blue is softer and milder, making it a real winner for all cheese fans. It comes from the famous Colston Bassett dairy in Nottinghamshire.
